Hopton and Coton Parish Council has received notification from Stafford Borough Council that a formal Planning Application has now been submitted regarding the change of use at the former University Halls of Residence on Weston Road from student accommodation to asylum seeker accommodation
The deadline for comments on the application need to be submitted to Stafford Borough Council by emailing planning@staffordbc.gov.uk before 20th April 2022
Comments can also be made by visiting www.staffordbc.org.uk/planning-public-access and inputting the Planning Reference of 22/35765/FUL in the search box
The Parish Council would also like to obtain residents views so that we can make a formal representation on behalf of all residents within the Parish. This can be done by visiting www.hoptonandcotonparishcouncil.org.uk/contact-us/. Comments need to be with the Parish Council before 16th April so that we have time to collate the information and create a response
